Manda Hicks, Interim
Director of Forensics
Manda joined the Talkin' Broncos coaching staff in Spring of 2005.
She
attended the College of Southern Idaho and Boise State University before
receiving her BA at Carroll College (MT). She was an outstanding
competitor at all three institution, specializing in platform speaking
and oral
interpretation events. After two years of graduate study at San Diego
State
University, Manda served as an Army Intelligence Analyst for the NATO
European Command Center, producing the European Commander's daily
intelligence briefing. Among her service citations are two "NCO of the
Year" awards for V Corps in 2003 and 2004. Manda received a Master of
Arts degree in Communication from Boise State. She has served as Boise
State's Assistant Director of Forensics since the Fall of 2005.

Jeff
Stoppenhagen, Assistant Coach
Jeff Stoppenhagen graduated from Boise State University in 1992 with
a degree in Political Science. As an undergraduate, he competed with
distinction in debate and individual events. He has been an assistant
coach since 1997, and from 1999 - 2005 served as the Assistant
Director of Forensics. Jeff is the Governor of Pi Kappa Delta's
Province
of the Great West, a position he has held since 1999. A former
training
officer of Wells Fargo & Company, he is currently a coach and corporate training
officer for T-Mobile Corporation.
Catherine Naillon,
Volunteer Coach
Catherine Naillon graduated Cum Laude from Boise State with a BA in Mass
Communication/Journalism. She also received her MA in Communication from
Boise State, concentrating on critical theory through the works of
Foucault, Baudrillard, and the Frankfurt School. As a graduate student
Catherine worked for Student Activities and the Interim Dean of the
College of SSPA as a research assistant. She is a member of the
International Communication Association, the Pacific Sociological
Association and the NCSF. Catherine became an assistant coach in the
fall of 2007. She is currently the Development Manager for the Idaho
Shakespeare Festival.
